Bhote Koshi River Rafting
Bhote Koshi is a trans-boundary river originated in the autonomous region of Tibet. Bhote Koshi serves as main source of water for multipurpose reason including generation of electricity in the areas close to Chinese border and further several kilometers inwards Nepal. Alike every rivers in Nepal Bhote Koshi carries its own religious beliefs as well. Further down Bhote Koshi mixes up with other 6 koshi rivers to contribute into Sapta Koshi which is the broadest river of Nepal.
Originated at the elevation of 2,750 meters the river down streams quickly through steep and deep gorge creating a huge current in the water is the reason why Bhote Koshi is one of the most rejoiced rivers for rafting. Steep down flow, through the gorges and ascent of 15 meters in every kilometer makes rafting in this beautiful creation of Nature most extreme. The rapids ranging from III at the lower flow and V at the high flow allows rafters to rest once in a while before they retain energy for high tides.
Silver Mountain and its team of rafting experts make sure that some water drills are performed initially in the calmer section of water. The setting of Bhote Koshi is such that you would feel the region was created for its extreme purpose. The view of the mountain at the back set adds essence to this rafting trip.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to The Last Resort, transfer to Resort, Short briefing and preparing for Bungy. After the Bungy Jumping, have a Lunch. Rest and Relax in The Last Resort.
Day 02: Drive from The Last Resort to Lomosangu-Dam by private car. We raft the first 10 km of the MOST exciting stretch of the river and then return to the start to play again the same stretch the next day rather than continue with only half a day paddling to the end. Drives back to our camp.
Day 03: After breakfast a quick pack up and set out (approx. 9 to 10 a.m.) run white water hit again a class 3 rapid starting from upper section. You have the second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point Dolalghat Bazaar about 2 to 3 p.m. and bus back to Kathmandu. Our trip is over here.
