Kathmandu Pokhara Tour
Kathmandu and Pokhara are two capitals of Nepal, Kathmandu is the country’s capital and Pokhara is believed to be tourist capital of the country. Words are not enough to describe both the cities. The tour starts by warm up city bound bus ride and walk seeing four out of seven UNESCO heritage sites including Kathmandu Durbar square, holiest of the holy Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath both the deities of Buddhist religion.
We also make our way through alleys of culturally rich sister cities of Kathmandu to witness cultural aspect and artifact. The age old palaces made by kings at ancient time, pagoda style monuments, traditional handicraft and cottage industry as well can be added essence of this tour which is no more in practice except some places in the country. At times of year this tours offer local festivals being celebrated in its most natural state which would be something to capture on frames of cameras.
After wrapping up our local tour we drive towards another mesmerizing valley situated some 200 kilometer west of Kathmandu through the national highway along the cascading Trishuli River below upto some kilometers, then Marshyangdi River and and finally by Seti River.
Pokhara commonly known as city of lake is a major gateway to the world famous Annapurna Region is also Nepal’s most beautiful and cleanest city. Pokhara more popular for its own reason, the existence of waterfall, Himalayan lakes, caves, rivers make Pokhara unique city in itself. The most appreciated fact about Pokhara is, it being in the border of subtropical climate offers the best view of some magnificent mountains like Annapurna and Fishtail.
Pokhara is also known famous for Seti Gandaki River, a notorious river flowing under the city making its way from the Himalayas in and out of Pokhara. The Seti Gandaki and its tributariesd have created several gorges and canyons in and around the whole city which gives intriguingly long sections of terrace features to the city and surrounding areas. Pokhara is known for undoubtedly many reasons like largest number of British Gurkha soldiers produced, Sarangkot a view point for best known sunrise and panoramic view of mountain ranges like Dhaulagiri, Annapurana and Fistail which is around 30 miles north in linear distance.
Pokhara surely steals the show for someone who would want to look at the mountains smiling back at them in their breakfast and lunch table. It surely is the place you would not want to miss while in short vacation, boating in the lakes, watching birds, mountains and sunrise would surely make you fall in love with the city and the entire tour.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
The views of the snow clad mountain peaks indicate that you have entered the country of the Himalayans where the people here are as diverse as the cultures here, where there is always something happening somewhere. Upon arrival, you will meet with our representative at the airport who will assist and help you transfer to a Hotel. Overnight accommodation will be in hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will have a full day guided sightseeing tour around Kathmandu where you can feast your eyes on the rich and colorful history of the country. The tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square- houses the old royal palace of the Kathmandu kingdom, Monkey Temple swarming with monkeys, Pashupatinath is one of the most significant Hindu temple of Lord Shiva in the world, Boudha Stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. One will be able to appreciate how the country is as it is. From the top of the Monkey Temple to the fluttering of the colorful prayer flags at Boudha Stupa, you will be able to feel the way of life of the people in the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive (884m) Driving duration: (Bus- 8 hours)
The mountain scenery along the drive will also be amazing- looks like a magnificent amphitheatre in a staggering scale and the scenes in the passing villages are astonishing. The landscape along with the way of life of the inhabitants’ changes radically.You will spend the night in Pokhara is a tourist destination which is popular for its ambient lakeside and fine views of the Annapurnas. There are a large variety of shops, hotels and restaurants which caters to different tastes and preferences.

Day 04: Exploration of Pokhara
We will start off with a early drive to Sarangkot to capture the tranquil magical view of the city before sunrise and also to view the first rays of sunlight hitting the mountains on the backdrop. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and other mountains. After an exhilarating start, we will drive back to Pokhara, where a whole day of sightseeing awaits us; Mahendra Cave, Bat cave, Davis falls….etc. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.
Day 05: Pokhara to Kathmandu
You will take a ride back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will have the whole day to yourself. You can indulge yourself in your personal activities. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.
Day 06: Final Departure
Pick up from and drop off at the hotel and the airport on a tourist vehicle.
